TASTING NOTES

This is an expressive Sauvignon Blanc with a crystal-clear colour. On the nose the vibrant notes of gooseberry, sweet melon, and hints of pineapple, playfully bounces off each other. A refreshing acidity on the palate tightly knits these fruit layers, capturing the essence of a uniquely South African Sauvignon Blanc.

VINEYARDS

Producing this wine consist of an adventurous discovery and sourcing of small parcels situated in some of the most beautiful parts of the Western Cape. Each parcel was selected to showcase the true terroirs of each specific region since it has different soil types, irrigation methods and trellising systems, all to suit each specific vineyard and climate.

WINEMAKING

Each parcel was vinified separately at Le Grand Domaine to express the uniqueness of the different terroirs. It was then blended by meticulous tasting beforehand to showcase the best of the best in such a way that no area overpowers one another, and thereby deliver the best expression of Sauvignon Blanc, the Western Cape had to offer in this particular season.
